How much does it cost to apply for a Temporary Residence Card in Vietnam

Temporary Residence Cards in Vietnam can be a difficult process. The application fee is $160 and the typical wait time before receiving your card is six months to one year, but there are other ways you might get around this pesky law if it doesn’t suit your needs too much!
-Overseas visitors may apply for their own visa at an embassy or consulate overseas;  this costs money (about 150$) plus any visas required by country of travel – Philippines has different fees than Thailand etc., so check thoroughly before going down that route
